From my personal collection. Early in my marriage I went to my very first auction and this is what I bid on! I just loved it and had to have it for our home.
Hand Hammered, swing handle, dovetail on sides and bottom, traditional finial on lid, goose neck spout with hinged spout cover. No makers mark that I can see, to the best of my knowledge I believe this is circa mid to late 1800’s. Beautiful Patina, no cracks.
Buyer Beware: I can’t get the lid off but think I could if I played around with it. There is also something rattling around on the inside, no idea what it is!
Bottom is 6″ round, measures 8″ high to top of handle.
